My little sister’s name is Puja. She is among the most precious people in my family. She is just two years younger.

Summary:

The relation between a brother and sister is considered as most propitious.

If mother is a soul of family then sister is a backbone of it. She manages the entire family in the absence of mother.

My Family:

My family consists of five people. My sister Puja is the youngest person in it. She is a very funny, innocent and caring girl. She often fights with me on several unnecessary reasons. Our parents regularly get tired of stopping us from fighting and making noise in the house.

Although she is caring and innocent, she is little naughty also. She behaves properly in front of the strangers and guests. Our family is an orthodox one, and therefore we are taught to express manners in the society.

She has got many friends because of her friendly nature. Among all friends, she considers me as her best friend. Some of her friends live nearby to our house. We all play together during holidays.

She never speaks too much but when she starts speaking no one could stop her until she explains her point completely. Her voice is soft because she has a born talent of singing.

Her appearance is no different than our usual Indian girls. But for me, she is the most beautiful girl in this world. She doesn’t like putting lots of make-up and cosmetics on face. Instead she prefers simple way of beautifying herself.

She likes wearing Punjabi dress. She prefers Sari on special functions. She enjoys all kinds of Indian festivals.

Singing is her passion. I and my family have always motivated her in preserving her talent. She has got several gold medals in numerous singing competitions. Our school has rewarded her many times whenever she has brightened the name of school.

Raksha-bandhan:

She ties a Rakhi on my hand. Every year we celebrate Raksha-Bandhan festival with a full pleasure. Every time I give her new gifts on this festival. She likes receiving gifts from me. This year I have decided to gift her one teddy bear and lots of chocolates. Our relation gets tightened on this festival.

We become little touchy on this day. This day brings joy in our life. I look at her smile when she ties a Rakhi on my hand. This smile makes me realize my duties towards her. I promise myself to protect her in every devastating condition.

She is a little studious girl. Every time she scores higher grades than me. She strictly manages her time of playing, studying, and doing household work.

She wants to become a singer. She makes many efforts on singing. Our beloved singer Lata Mangeshkar is her idol.
