Approximately 13.8 billion years ago, when the birth of the universe took place, after which, it gave birth to one of the most intelligent galaxies of the space-The Milky Way, which comprises of our Solar System.

Our solar system accommodates the sun, the giver of life, eight major planets namely, Mercury, Venus, Earth, Mars, Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus, Neptune and the five dwarf planets namely, Ceres, Pluto, Haumea, Makemake and Eris.

Not only these, but there are thousands of minor planets and satellites that form a part of our Solar System.

As everyone knows that there is large envelope of live that has evolved on the earth, many scientists have predictions regarding the traces of lives on Mars and Europa, who is considered as a moon of Jupiter. Recent studies have also witnessed the inclusion of new planets along with the extinction of some.

The Astronaut’s View:

ADVERTISEMENTS:

It is believed that our Solar System was formed 4.6 billion years ago, which was a result of gravitational collapse of a giant cloud of dust. The sun, being the brightest star of our Solar System, acts as a source of light for the other planets. The earth gets its required heat for the evolution of life from the sun. There is a constant process of nuclear fusion on the surface of the sun which leads to a constant rise in its temperature.

This energy is radiated in the space in the form of light and electromagnetic waves. The planets are further categorized into inner planets and the outer planets, of which mercury, Venus, earth and mars form the inner ones and Jupiter, Saturn, Uranus and Neptune add to the outer solar system.

ADVERTISEMENTS:

These planets keep revolving around the sun along with rotation around themselves. Not only the planets and stars, but our solar system has got comets and asteroids to add more spark. Finding hints of life on the other planets apart from the earth always proves to be a hit listed issue for the space researchers.

The Astrological View:

In the astrology, it is believed that the planets of our Solar System impress an impact on the human lives. This is because the astrologists believe that every part and every emotion of the human body is associated with a planet and that the planetary system controls the human body. As in India we have the concept of ‘rashi’, according to which each planet rules a particular set of people and controls their lives. Research is carried out on the emitting energies from the planets and the attraction of the same by the human bodies.

How much Important it is?

Whatever the view may be either astronaut’s or astrological, our Solar System continues to be an integral part of human life. The National Aeronautics and Space Administration (NASA) and many other space research centers keep unfolding the secrets of our Solar System. It is a mystery that is yet to be revealed so that we recognize the various effects of its energies and understand the way a dark space manages to hold all the entities that just float!
