There is no other peaceful place in the entire world than the comfort of my house. It is a place where I have learnt the very 1st lesson of my life.
For me the unity, togetherness, love all comes from my house. It is a base for every member of my house.
I daily thank God for blessing me with such a lovable house. My house is situated in the suburb of a beautiful metro city known as Cochin in Kerala. Kerala is situated towards the southern part of India. It is a place which is moving at a faster pace. But then too I am in love with my place. My house is situated in Sudarshan Krishna society. I live with my family on 2nd floor, 3rd wing. My apartment is very simple.

It is not very big and luxurious. It has 2 bedrooms, one kitchen, 2 wonderful balconies and one common living room. Yet it is a place where one can find all sorts of happiness and joy. We are five members in my house. I stay with my parents and siblings. I have 2 elder brothers. My Dad is working as a Regional Manager in Bank of Baroda. My Mom is a poetry writer. All the five of us make our home.
My Grandparents live separately in another apartment next towards us. The kitchen of my house is beautifully designed by me. I have done interior designing course and I love designing. My mom cooks delicious food.

I share my room with my elder brothers. We play, gossip and study in that room. We enjoy each other’s company a lot and share our day to day problems with each others. Another room is shared by my parents. The living room has a big dining table where we eat. Both the balconies are facing the main roads. The balconies are not too big. But it feels great to sit in the balcony in the evening hours & enjoy the nature especially in the rainy season. We have a big garden in the society where we play during vacations and weekends. We have car parking also below our apartment.
We usually play hide and seek and hide besides the cars and vehicles parked in the parking area. I love my house very much. It’s so much joy and fun to be in the house. Though I fight with my siblings over small small things like toys, compass, pens, clothes etc., but at the end our parents teaches us all the good things in life. They try to make us better human beings and understand each other and avoid such fights.
